Great video. I had to look up Kakepuku to see where it was. Beautiful green countryside. Here in Minnesota we are just getting done with winter. I really like the Nano. I have owned a Benson, an Air Command, and two different Sport Copters. Now I fly an Aeronca Chanp an a Kolb Firestar. Thinking of getting back into gyro's. May have to wait for a use Nano to come up. Thanks for the post.

In Minnesota, if you can't get aircraft insurance, they have what is called Minnesota Joint Underwriting Association. I contacted Avemco and had them send me an email stating they don't insure Gyrocopters. The MJUA requires a rejection letter. Then they will give you liability for about $200 a year. Forget what the total coverage is but I think it's around 100K. This is the only way I could get it registered in Minnesota. Hope this helps anyone in Minnesota.

I've also flown ultralights. Challenger, Tbird, Titan Tornado. Now I fly the Titan in the winter and Sport Copter in the summer.

I'm a long time fixed wing pilot also. About 1600 hours in all sorts. I have flown gyros also and am itching to get back into them. I'm going to Oshkosh to see the Nano.

Have been a fixed wing pilot since 1976. Aprox 1700 hours. I've put about 10 hours in a Benson, 150 hours in an Air Command, 265 hours in a Sport Copter Vortex, and about 10 hours in a RAF 2000. I live in western Minnesota. The Nano interests me because it's an ultralight, which means no Gov involved and it's partial enclosure. Going to look at them at Oshkosh.
