What is the NANO?
The NANO is revolutionizing the Part 103 category in the US. There is no other aircraft like it in the world! The NANO is a TRUE Part 103 Ultralight Gyrocopter. No license is required to fly this aircraft in the US, but training is strongly encouraged. The NANO is made in Poland by Fusioncopter, and imported to the US by F.U.N. Co, a Michigan company. Gyrocopters are extremely maneuverable and inherently safe aircraft, able to handle wind gusts and windy conditions much better than their fixed wing counterparts. They are much easier to fly than helicopters and are able to land in extremely short distances. The rotor is always in auto-rotation so engine failures are much less of an event than in a helicopter or airplane. Being a pusher, the view is uninhibited and they are truly a joy to fly.
Uses for the NANO:
-
Aerial photography
-
Sightseeing
-
Ranchers (check on live stock, check fencing etc)
-
Agricultural condition surveying

Low and Slow FUN!
The NANO is a simple gyroplane that has a cabin and a solid - traditional, riveted, duralumin aviation structure, providing the pilot with a sense of security. The NANO uses the proven and durable Polini THOR 303 (dual-ignition) engine, a true aircraft engine for light aircraft or the Hirth F23 V28CL. The chassis of this gyroplane enables take-offs and landings not only on runways but also on unpaved meadow-like areas. The NANO has a reliable and easy to use pre-rotator. An additional feature is the ease of hangaring the aircraft. After disassembly of the rotor, chassis and tail it takes no more space than a motorcycle.
